![]() I find the ITB vs OTB discussion intriguing because, to me, the only way to really find out which way of mixing that sounds and works the best for you - is to try them out yourself. The Mytek is musical, but not in the same league, still I love how it sounds. The Convert-8 is stellar, best DAC I've ever used. The 2Bus+ sounds great - wide, punchy, deep - and the harmonic processors are useful. I writing a review of the new Dangerous 2Bus+ and has it hooked up to a Dangerous Convert-8 and a Mytek 8x192. I wonder how a dangerous 2 bus may sound like with superb converters. It sounds great! Even better than the old 2Bus. They have a common 'headroom' and a crosstalk network and can be linked for different grouping and ducking uses.īut I'm by no means an expert so you shouldn't propably just take my word for it. In SKnote's Strip the plugin instances actually interact with one another. Or actually I don't, it's kinda pain in the ass to use, since Reaper doesn't natively have post fader inserts, but you win some you lose some. Don't ask me how or why that works, I just enjoy working with it in my chain. ![]() They apply some sort of calibrated saturation meant to run post-fader, that the buss plugin then 'de-saturates'. ![]() Or at least that's what was concluded at that time.īut I'm curious about what Airwindows and SKnot claim to be doing?Airwindows plugins don't interract with each other. When Waves NLS came out there was a big dust up about that because they implied NLS was doing that too but as it turned out, DAW protocols don't really allow that. How do the Airwindows and Sknote "interact" with each other? ![]()
